AMHA Essay Contest
Submitted By Becca Perriman on Wednesday, October 9, 2019
The Ayr Rockets are extremely excited to partner with Ayr Minor Hockey for a player essay contest!

The MacFarlane Family has generously donated a prize of 2 tickets for each Guelph Storm home game this season!

Ayr Rockets players are invited to participate in the essay contest with a chance to win weekly!

CONTEST DETAILS:

Players can write about one of two topics:
  - why, in their opinion, hockey is such a great game
  - a favourite memory from their hockey experience, explaining why the memory is such a great one

There is no need for corrected grammar or spelling; aside from younger athletes who may require assistance, AMHA would like all essays to be written by the players themselves.

Each week, a winning essay will be selected, with the winner's name and essay being posted to the AMHA website.

Players need only submit a single essay - it will remain in the contest for the entire season.

The contest is officially open and players can start submitting their entries!  Email entries to: [email protected]
